The Nook Tennis Center
The Nook’s six indoor premier courts are programmed for a variety of tennis tournaments, leagues, camps, clinics, instruction and open play. The Nook Tennis Center is heated and air conditioned for maximum comfort.

The Nook’s Tennis services include racket re-stringing and customization, ball machine rental for solo play and a fully stocked tennis department in our pro-shop.

Sign-up and join the club! Youth, adult and family memberships are available for all players who want to take advantage of exclusive free court time and priority status on all the programs offered by Nook Tennis.

A Spooky Nook Tennis Membership is required to participate in all tennis programs.

Get a grip on your tennis skills with our “Get a Grip” monthly assessments. Based on your test results and the skill level pyramid above, your racket will get a grip with the color of your level. This system will allow coaches and trainers to group players and match them fairly for competitive play.

Adult leagues are for players 18 years and older. Team and individual (free agent) sign-ups are welcome. The USTA League is the country’s largest recreational tennis league, helping more than 800,000 participants nationwide get on the court, have a good time and step up their game.

In offering USTA Leagues, the Nook provides players in Central PA with the opportunity to test their hard-earned skills in competitive match play while enjoying the camaraderie of teammates old and new. Set on five brand new indoor cushioned acrylic courts, play is based on the NTRP rating system, ensuring you play with and against players of similar ability – even if you are new to the game or a former player. USTA Leagues also offer you and your teammates a chance to advance from local play to USTA League National Championship events. As a USTA League player, you receive all the benefits of a USTA Membership, including early access to tickets, tennis publications and much more. All teams interested in playing in USTA Leagues must be USTA members and register independently on the USTA website. Players must be Nook Tennis members to represent Nook Tennis teams.

The league is organized as competitive team match play. Teams are made up of a minimum of five to eight players depending upon division. Teams and matches are set up according to NTRP ratings, so your teammates and opponents will be at your skill level. The competition is exciting, the atmosphere is social, and since players compete on teams, you have a built-in cheering section.

Raise the bar and commit to the ongoing development of your all-around game. Both our youth and adult clinics are high energy and packed full of fast-paced drills. Your skill level, fitness and tennis IQ will keep building week after week. Clinics will focus on shot development, stroke enhancement, balance, footwork, strategy, mental toughness and tennis conditioning.
